Q1: What is the size of the panels?

A1: Gallery sheets are 1220 mm wide by 2440 mm high. They can be combined / adjusted to fit any wall size as needed.

Q2: How can a continuous image be achieved on walls larger than the panel size?

A2: There are two options:

Butt-jointing the sheets: This creates an almost seamless transition between panels.

Using a small gap with clear silicone: This method is often preferred by infection control professionals, as the clear silicone creates a hygienic, almost visually seamless finish while eliminating even minor joins.

Q3: Do you provide any stock images?

A3: We do have a selection of images from previous projects, licensed for reuse. However, we highly recommend sourcing new imagery from stock websites. This approach ensures originality and fosters collaboration between you and your end-clients.

Q4: Can we use external images, such as those from Shutterstock?

A4: Absolutely, and we encourage this. Using stock platforms provides flexibility and ensures your project reflects the specific aesthetic you’re looking to achieve.

Q5: What are the recommended requirements for image files (format, size, resolution, DPI, etc.)?

A5: The image orientation should match the wall dimensions: landscape for wide spaces and portrait for tall areas. Most images from platforms like iStock or Shutterstock meet our base requirements. We enhance them to the necessary scale using our specialised software. Aim for a minimum resolution of 4000 pixels width and 300 DPI for optimal quality.

For example:

Image 1: 4270 px x 2846 px at 300 DPI is suitable.

Image 2: 6617 px x 4421 px at 300 DPI is preferred.

Please note, when images are scaled to wall size, standing very close may reveal a reduction in perceived quality. However, from a distance of one to two metres, the result is visually excellent.

An alternative to consider would be vector artwork instead of photography. Photos vs. vector illustrations. We often work with organisations such as Art in Site who have design expertise and a network of artists who are experienced in illustrating for healthcare settings.

To ensure the image looks its best, supplied artwork must be a minimum of 150 dpi (ideally 400 dpi) when used actual size. The colour ideally needs to be set to CMYK. Accepted formats are JPEG, TIFF, PDF, SVG, EPS, PSD and PNG. Optionally, you can provide a link to a stock imagery website such as iStock or Shutterstock.

We will return a proof, showing how the sections of the image will be printed along with an Order Acknowledgment.
Confirm the design meets expectations by signing the Order Acknowledgement and returning it to us.
The Trovex Gallery product will be delivered as per the dates on the Order Acknowledgement.
