Trovex worked with Storford Interiors, Sir Robert McAlpine and Jonathan Clark Architects, and supplied Trovex Diamond products for the new veterinary hospital building.
This eight-storey veterinary hospital, training and administration building, part of a major redevelopment of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, creates a new world-leading facility.
Funded in 1860 by Mary Tealby, and now with two more sites in Berkshire and Kent, rescues abused and abandoned dogs and cats, Battersea has always been on the front line of animal care, rescuing the many thousands of abandoned and neglected dogs and cats.
Trovex Diamond Satin White Hygienic Wall Cladding has been used together with Trovex Diamond Brilliance Gloss Colours; Summer, Limelight, Emperor and Amber to create a a ground-breaking solution within the three new Veterinary hospital theatres, emergency area, staff meeting area, kennels and other areas.
This new world-leading facility and Centre of Excellence will make it possible to help more dogs and cats and will enable BDCH to welcome and train staff from rescue and rehoming organisations all over the world.
With no government subsidy, all its work is funded through donations. Today, on average, the three centres care for almost 500 animals at any one time (more than 7,000 each year), and most are rehoused within 30 days.
