Supplied in Majestic Oak Finish, these attractive doorsets boast the unique Hygiglaze flush glazed vision panels, as they pose proudly in the hospital corridors.
Challenges met at West Bergholt Ward
Double, single and leaf-and-a-half doorsets were supplied to the project to match the varying requirements throughout the ward. Trovex Hygidoor is delivered pre-hung on factory-assembled frames which minimises installation time on site, enabling the site team to achieve tight deadlines.
The tough Trovex material, aesthetically appealing finish and design and fire rated properties make this product ideal to withstand the busy and demanding hospital environment. The doors produced for Colchester Hospital were 30 or 60 minute fire rated, complying with regulations.
Beauty in clean lines
The Hygiglaze system produces a vision panel with no external beading that is perfectly flush with the door face. This greatly enhances the hygienic properties and simplifies the cleaning process, making Trovex Hygidoor the most thoughtfully designed and practical doorset for hygienic environments.
Wood grain finish
Colchester Hospital were able to select from the attractive finishes available in the Trovex range to choose a doorset that boasts an attractive wood grain finish while still including Trovex hygienic technology. As well as several wood grain finishes, Hygidoor is also available in the full Trovex colour range, including gloss and satin finishes.
Trovex hygienic wall cladding was also installed to half height along the corridor walls, providing further hygienic protection.
Having worked with architects, end clients and contractors for 25 years, the experienced project team gave Colchester Hospital and the contractor their full assistance with technical detail and installation advice, including visiting site.
On completion of the works to West Bergholt Ward, Trovex were proud to have helped successfully deliver the vision of the architect with innovative, durable and attractive products.
